I question if it helped us on our way. Because of the injury he scored 0,0 in his first two rides. Yes we got 5+1 for the last two rides but a fully fit MPT would have scored more than that, guaranteed.

He's usually good for double figures currently

No guarantees, but highly likely. Also r/r yielded just 3

Let's hope the Panthers deservedly win the play offs and then perhaps mouthy Steve will finally shut up.

You seem to think I don’t want Peterborough to win the league. That isn’t true. I really don’t care who wins the league.

However, as I said yesterday, if Batchelor gets going and Sheffield make it past Belle Vue, I think they will overcome Peterborough.

Surprise he took his second ride?

No surprise he didn't appear again after that

Is he out for the rest of the season?

I love how Shovlar thinks the Championship is the bees knees now.Oh how he changes his mind,he thought it was utter rubbish before the season started and was even contemplating not going. He would love Poole to be in the Prem play offs and not the Champ just so he could gloat even more.

People are allowed to change their minds. The worst people are the one's that don't like change and stay away.

It is better to av tried something new than not to av tried at all. :t:

Proud of the way we battled last night to be honest and never gave up fighting. Only 3 heats didn't feature track specialists Harris and Andersen, only 1 heat didn't feature Harris, Andersen or Nicholls  21 of their 30 rides completed by the trio, surprised we kept it so close to be honest. Really hope the second leg is more of a team event, then we may stand a chance.

Having a good team manager who can make these decisions and see where or who to put in which race even when Douglas took MPT out the match is just as important as having track specialists ,then again you need the riders to respond to the wishes of the team manager and in this case it shows the togetherness of the riders and team manager that Peterborough have had for the entire season so far

Agree,it is good to try something new than not at all.But Steve instead of trying it first gave all the spiel that he won't be going,he's not happy,we belong in the PL etc.Give a go first then say what you think to it.I preferred it when Lynn were in the 2nd tier mainly because you had different opposition every week.

No chickens being counted here.  Job still needs to be done in 3 more meetings if we want that trophy, but I can't put enough praise on this team.

Pedersen did better than most expected last night and was unlucky not to have a race victory to his name.  He'll be a busy man at reserve I'm sure but all 3 tracks he will potentially ride at should suit him better than wolves.

Palin beat Flint,  both looked very poor last night.  He needs to keep beating to opposing R/S

Losing MPT was a blow as he's been our in form rider but the lads stepped up.

Riding order will be interesting loving forwards will Andersen ride at 2 with MPT or will they keep Nicholls with him.

losing palm toff was not such a bad deal in the end. you had harris andersen an nicholls wolves had nothing .good luck in the final if you make it of course :t:

Really? They also had Palin in one race and another with Palm Toft struggling because he was injured.

Haven’t missed it at all due to the leagues being of virtually the same strength and more teams in the Championship. While it remains this way I am happy for the club to remain in the league with the most teams. And impossible to pick who will win the league as well. Enjoy the 6 team league.

Hopefully Belle Vue will join you the so called Premiership is bobbins.

Toft was a big loss to Peterborough.Palin did come in one of Toft's races but this enabled Andersen to have 2 of Palin's programmed rides.Palin only had 3 rides which he has to do.

If, as a few seem to be saying on here, there is little difference in strength between Premiership and  Championship, are those doubling up riders sporting the same averages in each league? Genuine question.

Rob Lyon plotted his resources well again , i thought that Peterborough could of had a 0-5 in heat 3 Morris fell on his own then Douglas moved over out of the graveyard gate 1 and went into MPT taking his space,  many including the ref didn't see it that way but with the track wet at the start he seemed to take that into consideration.

Really good team management from rob lyon, did everything he could.

People are worried about bjarne at reserve, hes not been shining but theres no tight corners at the other 3 tracks left and he ought to get his whack ( if of course panthers go thru)

Agree with that, Lyon did a great job faced with losing MPT. He always seems calm, composed and reasonable in his interviews.

Stating the obvious Lyons rallied his riders very well.  After Schlein's pass of the two Panthers I thought Wolves would kick on but they didn't really.  All still to play for of course and in speedway one never knows but at this stage it's gotta be 'advantage Peterborough'....
