Perhaps I'm remembering wrong but despite him being signed to replace Cook I thought he scored pretty well considering.

He was decent and performed better than expected. He’s not the answer for this year though…..

Absolutely, I'm not suggesting he is, I just thought he was one of your better riders in what was a pretty poor season.

Spud averaged 4.90 in his 19 meetings for you in 2019. His 2019 Prem GSA is 4.87 . His converted current Champ GSA is 4.02 if that was used. I'd only consider him if 2 riders come in, allowing for  a decent other. I wouldn't bring him in as a straight swap for anyone imho.

He didn't do that bad at reserve but he was on a hiding to nothing at the time as the replacement for Cook

If he joined Sheffield now in place of Cook no one would think of him in the same manner at all .

I think he was at reserve all year and didn't pull up any trees

Tonight's programme suggests no team changes.  Is this all in Baldy's head?

Nope. I'm not crackers. But you won last time and if you do so tonight maybe they will wait? The main rider of the 2 might be held up for the same reason Niels was called back, i don't know. I'll own it and name the riders i was told, so don't worry..

I actually wouldn't now make any changes..they need to work with Palin and they've all shown improvement in speed in the last 2 meetings which have been superb entertainment.

Basso will be on the world stage soon so make the most of watching him here.

I'd still make the main change for Ostergaard as it'd massively strengthen the team having an out and out number 1

This is taking longer that i thought it would. I hear no planned changes in the programme notes as well. Is it the cost, the fact that you have picked up a bit or is it a problem getting permission to ride over here, i don't know. But if you got the changes, i think you could still make the play offs.
