Flappy Posted March 21, 2022 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2022 Can't say I'm overly enthusiastic about this season, riders a year older 3 coming back from big enough injuries to which has stopped them doing much over the winter plus Basso replacing Pedersen meaning no strong reserve at all times. All the riders they beat last season are also a year older, If MPT can ride like he did with the busted fingers he should be ok now there fracture free Nicholls rode with his shoulder issue also now hopefully hes discomfort free Ostergaard is a worry but both Peterborough and Glasgow seem to equally think hes worth a place still hes even capt Ulrich at Glasgow Palin needs to kick on this season and get more consistency in his scores ,cant carry him this season in any matches. We have a thriving, or at least we are told as such, supporters club and network so I'd have thought that falls within their remit in the short term at least. They are as independent as much as any club associated group can be. A splinter group, along the lines that you mention, might develop if more pressure is needed. The main thing for this year IMO would be to always ask where Peterborough Speedway fits within any forthcoming development plans and make sure that question doesn't go away.
