Peterborough Panthers 2022

What we reckon then?

New owners or still Buster and others running the show?

Rob Lyon to stay?

Pedersen retiring, what other changes would you make? Does Dad's Army and Pike have another year in them.

Do you touch Ostergaard on an inflated average?

Why wouldn't Buster run? The club's made a very healthy profit. The Panthers fanbase is huge and we have the best track in the league.

Ostergaard's average in 2021 was 7.84, his rolling average is 7.09. You could make an argument that his actual average is below his current level of performance. Obviously, you have to factor in the fact that he rode at reserve for a long period. However, I would persevere with him as he is a great team man.

Out of this current team, I would love to see Hans, Harris, Toft, Palin and Ulrich retained. If we could fit in Jack Holder and Crump then it would be a great team.

1. Holder

2. Hans

3. Ulrich

4. Toft

5. Harris

6. Crump

7. Palin

I know young Adam Ellis would love to have the Showground as his home track...

Make the most of the Showground because it's unlikely to be staging speedway after 2024 I would think, with the new development plan coming out next April. Well done to the various agricultural show chairmen and committees for also allowing the annual show to disappear even though other societies are recording record crowds

Ostergaard gets artificial high average, Panthers take advantage of it most of season and then won’t sign him on it next year.

BV took advantage of being council-funded.

Other clubs have had to cut their cloth accordingly and don't get stadiums funded by taxpayers.

Panthers had a lower budget than BV, yet finished above them. That's a story.

Actually it is funded by "prudential borrowing" which is recouped by the rent charge to the club. So no the taxpayer isn't paying for the stadium.
