Poole might want the loan money!!

Edit- actually Chris and Matt are good friends, so I wonder if there is a Poole asset floating around that could help out Ipswich, like Kasper Gomolski? Not sure if average fits though. Not sure how many leagues he does either.

He's awful these days.

Ipswich should go for someone like Aaron Summers who's hit the ground running since coming out of retirement. He'll give it 100%.

Can't use a guest for a reserve, but he's bound to be in the top 5 from August

He will be from next meeting,,, so will be rr anyway,,, unless someone else is also out,, or a team change,,which was what I was saying not much scope with.

Depends how bad a break it is firstly, and although if riding he could wear a protective boot its a what if he crashes again etc.

If its not a bad break then with some form of laser treatment or oxygen therapy he could be back sooner  if its a bad break cant see him back for 3 to 6 months

Not many options left in the UK not sure if Thomson, Summers or Knudsen fit so for the time being surely its worth exploring a 28 day deal with someone like Mads Hansen or Hellstrom Bangs maybe?

Wouldn't touch Lindback.

He'd give up easily on these shores just like Miedzinski did when he didn't make the gate. Just getting Antonio to turn up at meetings every week would be a stretch.

Lindback would be there like a shot (glass)!!

Chris Holder still lives in UK and is coming back for Middlo's testimonial at end of August and I'm fairly sure his Polish club will not be in their play-offs

Chris Holder would in theory be available from August 8th

Do we still have spare points to play with ? Holder is 7.5 roughly and Eriks rolling average is 6

that would be a coup

Don't think we have anything to play with,, Doyles average went up a hefty bit,,and add Troy's to that to.

Currently 38.22,,,,what it will go up to at next averages I don't know.  Eric's current average is 4.62,,,so if its going up to 6 then that gives a bit more scope I suppose

The Fibula is not a primary weight bearing bone, so Erik could possibly be back much sooner than some people think. Mine has been broken since 1981, and it never affected my ability to participate in various sports...

The info posted by Ipswich says a broken left ankle, and no operation until Thursday  (because of swelling?), so no prognosis until after the op ...

The fibula near the ankle is very important to the stability of the ankle joint.

I suspect the severity of any soft tissue damage in and around his ankle will be a factor in his recovery. Hopefully it's not too bad, and Erik will be fit and up to speed before the play-offs. When i broke my fib, tib and ankle, it was the severe ligament and soft tissue damage that concerned my surgeon the most. Orthopaedic surgery has come a long way since the 80's though...
