If it’s a fit and trim cam I’d definitely retain him but if it’s the larger version we should let him move on.

Agree and I can understand some not willing to take the risk as you never know what Cam is going to turn up. He returned after the winter a few times in a horrible state, totally unprofessional. Thankfully, whether the penny dropped or someone told him in no uncertain terms to sort himself out, the last couple of years he’s come back in great shape so hopefully that will remain the case.

So reading these comments King is a shoe in, alot seem to like Doyle and now ending towards including Heeps

So what do people think to the rest of the proposed team that flaps has put up

Riss? Stark? Rowe and Kemp wasn't it?

I can see Riss riding for us and Starke but can’t see kemp or Rowe returning.  Maybe danyon Hume may return.  He is a witches asset after all and I’m sure Danny will give him a recommendation after being teammates at poole last year

Flappy’s team is 2 and a half points under the limit, he must be wrong surely..

What ipswich need in their team for nest season is a decent third heat leader,,, I'm pretty sure the other teams will be going that way,,, but we will need it even more if we are blowing a big chunk on Doyle

Think Cook would do that job well. Doyle and King as the top 2 would take some pressure off Cook and a Cook/Riss partnership in the engine room at 3 and 4 would be a good one

Doyle

Heeps

Cook

Riss

King

Starke

Kemp

Still like the look of that team and it fits

What's Basso average for Poole?

He was just a late season ringer and wouldn't have ridden enough to achieve a full figure

I'd like to see this as the start of the building but to find someone to ride at 2 and 4, someone has said Musielak is riding for a team a couple hundred miles further north

1. Jason Doyle
2.
3. Tobias Musielak
4.
5. Danny King
6. Benjamin Basso

not sure I am using the right averages here

Doyle
Musielak
King
Basso
Covatti

If they still do the Brit reduction then Scotty Nicholls fits if not then I guess heeps at 5.10 is building under the limit.

Team A
1. Doyle
2. Covatti
3. Nicholls
4. Musielak
5. King
6. Basso
7. Kemp

Team B
1. Doyle
2. Heeps
3. Musielak
4. Covatti
5. King
6. Basso
7. Kemp

Fingers crossed that we see around 75% of either side then I might go twice a month...

His final average in his only season with Ipswich in the top flight was 6.30 in 2019. If you look on the BSPA website at the strength of the teams involved, they were far stronger than they are now as well so that negates the fact that some of that season was spent at reserve.

He won’t be “doing well” to keep a 5.1 average so I’ll respectfully disagree. I still firmly believe that IF he is back, he’ll put a point minimum on his starting average with the caveat that his head isn’t in the clouds..

Heeps averaged 4.50 in 2021 matches only! So if he can reach a 5.10 ave, that's an improvement of 0.6, I'd say that's "doing well"

I'd certainly recommend any team with Nicholls in it!
