A Provisional Russian Fixture list has been published, and there will be plenty of meetings shown on You Tube, either by the club or by Anton and his trusty band of helpers on the Ice Gladiators YouTube channel . One change is that the Higher League will run three meetings rather than 6, all on the first day, with the Team Cup of Russia for Juniors on the second day.

Individual Russian Championship:

December 18-19: Semi Final 1 (Ufa) Semi Final 2 (Shadrinsk),

December 25-26: Final 1 (Togliatti),

January 5-6: Final 2 (Kamensk-Ural).

Russian Team Championship (Super League):

December 11-12: Kamensk-Ural (1-2 stages)

January 22-23: Ufa (3-4 stages),

February 19-20: Togliatti (stages 5-6),

March 5-6: Shadrinsk (stages 7-8).

Team championship of Russia (Higher League):

January 22: Lukhovitsy (1 stage),

February 19: Vyatskie Polyany (2nd stage),

March 5: Novosibirsk (3rd stage).

Team Cup of Russia (Juniors):

January 23: Lukhovitsy (1st stage),

February, 20: Vyatskie Polyany (2nd stage),

(First day individual competitions, second day team competitions).

These have been confirmed so far:

12/13 february - Togliatti

5/6 march - Berlin

12/13 march - Inzell

I see from the HORST DOM ICE STADIUM that due to technical problems the stadium will be closed until May 2022....is the event likely to be in another stadium

On the website it is still showing as being on with times for meetings/practices on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Look up on the net Eis speedway Grand Prix Berlin.

Looks like you are correct

Any news regarding the Euro final in Poland in December? Is it still TBC

In my opinion definitely ON- the SR’s were issued last week and Speedway events.pl facebook page has posts  regarding it.

Only that lots of the western riders were complaining they wouldn't get any training in before and wanted it postponed until next year. Not going to happen. Also saw something about the Russian training camp being cancelled due to lack of funds. But guess individual riders will still be able to train

Russian ice speedway being cancelled due to lack of funds... Never thought I'd read that.

Tbh I didn't give it much attention. Russians were angry. Could be that a sponsor dropped out, or made too many conditions....

As you say, doesn't look good yet again for any Continental natural ice tracks in the west
