One change is that the Higher League will run three meetings rather than 6, all on the first day, with the Team Cup of Russia for Juniors on the second day. Individual Russian Championship: December 18-19: Semi Final 1 (Ufa) Semi Final 2 (Shadrinsk), December 25-26: Final 1 (Togliatti), January 5-6: Final 2 (Kamensk-Ural). Russian Team Championship (Super League): December 11-12: Kamensk-Ural (1-2 stages) January 22-23: Ufa (3-4 stages), February 19-20: Togliatti (stages 5-6), March 5-6: Shadrinsk (stages 7-8). Team championship of Russia (Higher League): January 22: Lukhovitsy (1 stage), February 19: Vyatskie Polyany (2nd stage), March 5: Novosibirsk (3rd stage). Also saw something about the Russian training camp being cancelled due to lack of funds. Tbh I didn't give it much attention. Russians were angry. Could be that a sponsor dropped out, or made too many conditions....
