Need a home win to help avoid the wooden spoon, but can't see it. :(

Well to be fair I think it will be a close one 47 - 43 or 46 - 44 but no idea which way... the Diamonds need to show the same spirit they did against Glasgow and we could pull off another surprise...

However this could be the 3rd last ever meeting at Brough and the fans need to turn out in numbers to show the Promotion that the sport isn't a lost cause in Newcastle and I don't mean thousands although that would be very nice... but the bigger the turn out 650/750/850 say then this will make the Promotion think again...

Edinburgh having to go with R/R for Anders Rowe (recurrence of knee injury) and Connor Bailey guests for the retired Nathan Greaves. So a Glasgow guest on both sides. I think this will be close.

NEWCASTLE: Ben Barker, Connor Mountain, James Wright, Max Clegg, Ricky Wells, Archie Freeman, Adam Roynon.
EDINBURGH: Sam Masters, Anders Rowe R/R, Kye Thomson, Josh Pickering, Richie Worrall, Drew Kemp, Connor Bailey.

Massive match in the context of the play offs must get at least a point tonight imo. Don’t want to have to leave it up to other teams for us getting in or not.

Not sure that’s enough Blobby.

We are 0 on the plus / minus, Scunny +3 Brum and Kent -1. If we win and go above Scunny it won’t matter what Brum do at Brough next week. I don’t see Kent getting 4 points at Leicester.
Plus that might get us Redcar in the playoffs, and a wee game of golf at Rockliffe Hall on the way there!! Marvellous !
