Bagpuss
If Thomas had a long standing commitment elsewhere and this meeting was rearranged then it's not really his fault, Brum management would have known about it when accepting the date 2

Maybe you'd like to take a look on the Brummies Fans Forum where the absences are explained!

That's what happens when you leave a top notch track like sunny Armadale and spend too long at a second rate ploughed field like Beirut. 33 minutes ago, lisa-colette said: Ian Rankin on Twitter: "Who doesn’t love the glamour of speedway? Would be interesting to see him on a speedway bike, although it's most likely he would end the evening pointless.

Plus he will have been working on telly all week so might be a "bit tired" by the time it gets to Friday so he will request the evening off... Alexander Armstrong as a guest for him maybe? Incredible how many replies are from people who "used to go and loved it".. Or, "I have been meaning to go".... Such a market out there waiting to be attracted in... In fairness at Edin I thought he was set for big big things, hes done well since leaving though until this season. Wonder if he will return next year? You do have a knack of getting riders in awful form going well, S Worrall and Sedgmen being two of them.
