Had a quick look through the regulations and can't see anything specifically related to a rider who retires after the cut-off date. You can have a guest facility for a retired rider for 28 days which can be rolled over if you can show why you haven't been able to bring in a replacement.

So it looks like guests up to Nathan's current average of 3.96 unless there is some special dispensation. William Lawson would fit average-wise but I don't think you can guest if not in a declared 1-7.

Technically Monarchs can’t bring in a replacement as we are by cut off for signing anyone. Is that right?

Announced as Archie Freeman tonight.

Assuming guests henceforth, Bickley, Kinsley, & Edwards have lower GSAs than the retired Greaves.

Seems Rising Stars are eligible with Freeman for Greaves tonight?

Averages don’t count for rising stars,it depends on what Average the Team was built on as to what grade of rising star you can use apparently!!

Yes, it must be so but presumably only if their actual average is less than 3.96 - so not Leon Flint for example.

That would be true if replacing a rising star which is not the case here. As with bowtel being too high to guest for neilsen at Poole because his gsa is higher despite not being declared in his own teams team building

Good luck to our teenage debutants tonight and young Archie. Looks like it should be a good close match. Always happy to watch Chris and Erik round the Dale and it will be interesting to see if Jack Thomas continues with recent improved form. Much will depend on the Brummies middle pairing but Edinburgh really need to stop Birmingham getting even one point.
