Douglas at reserve shouldn't be allowed. The reserve spots are designed to help young riders develop.

Teams are abusing the reserve position.

How does Douglas being as reserve for Wolves differ to Andersen or Harris riding in that position for P'boro.

The Wolves record at Alawalton is very poor. No matter who we have in the 1-7 wins there are rare. However we are in betterĀ shape thanĀ last time. We had to use R/R for Schlein, sometimes that works and sometimesĀ it doesn't. MastersĀ only scored 4 but is currently inĀ a run of reliableĀ scoring. Leon Flint did ride last time scoring 0 , but is now settled in and had a really good score at IpswichĀ of 10. Still, I think its a Panthers winĀ and I would like a point, but not confident of that.Ā Ā Ā

As an aside Panthers fans, if you did get firstĀ pick in the play-offs, who would you choose ? From ourĀ perspective I would choose Sheffield.Ā

How did the americans do last time? I thought they would find it trickier than Masters!Ā

I seem to remember Becker scoring really well in the A fixture, he seems to be different to most Americans in that he rides big tracks well.Ā

Mixed bag ! Becker 15+1 and Nicol 1. Perhaps surprisinglyĀ Becker is pretty good on the bigger tracks. MaybeĀ he's in the mould of Sam ErmolenkoĀ (not saying he going to be that good) where he can ride any track.

The last time I can remember Schlein at Peterborough he was trying to get the match abandoned because he couldn't ride the track... he succeeded!

I'd prefer R/R again I think

Does Becker ride in Poland though? If he does, that would help with riding bigger tracks!
