The best meetings at Vojens is when it’s rained I checked the forecast today and there was no rain forecast Phil needed to get the covers off earlier and get the water down. mikebv
Fantastic result for the Championship... Zmarzlik wins so many points by riders getting "out of the way" as he drives/spears his bike under them on bend three of every track... Nicki P would have him excluded time and time and time again by leaving his left leg out and sliding serenely to the fence... The level these lads race at is truly staggering.....

Freddie was closing in on Tai We don't know the full extent of the incident. If Freddie was KO'd or declared himself unfit or the Doctor says he is unfit to ride then there would be little point in a re-run

ytsejam
The only good thing about another utterly rubbish “no passing” GP was seeing Freddie walk off the track after his horrendous crash.
bellevueace
Glad to see Freddie get up from that one, horrendous crash, the GP continues to prove having all the best riders doesnt guarantee good racing, im getting fed up with it tbh, appears to becoming more and more processional. Agreed... Hope there was no delayed reaction after the adrenaline melted away.... A horrible high impact crash...

OveFundinFan
It must have been a better quality of a meeting from Vojens because in a weird sort of way it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. For sure there was some boring races, but first corner action was often good and those that wanted to chase and pass did, but with current points system chasing hard in heats 13-20 is not always worth it if you scored well in your first 3 rides. Not the first time has Emil took a dive, yet others later stayed on when in similar situation. Glad to see Freddie on his feet, just hope it wasn’t him in that report of an ambulance with blue lights leaving shortly after the meeting.

Surely could not be fit to race in a rerun.

A lot of forceful undertakes were the order of the day... The World Champ certainly likes that method of attack, last night and most weeks.. If riders didn't just "get out of the way" and kept their line he would face a fair few exclusions.. He has a worked a big advantage for himself as he seems to have got into their heads that he is "coming through" no matter what.. A risky strategy but seems to be worth it... bigcatdiary
Like a lot of this years GP,s it livened up a bit in the last few races but let’s be honest it wasn’t a very good start when we had clouds of dust for the first few heats. Their just doesn’t seem to be much importance on putting together a track that riders can race on, it’s mostly all gate and go with grippy inside lines preventing any passing opportunities. The only riders who seem to be able to pass anyone consistently are Laguta or Zmarzlik who seem to be a good 10 mph faster than everyone else. And what the hells has happened to Janowski, he started like a definite podium contender and then suddenly he has gone into the Kasprzak and Berntzon mode. Maybe Nicki Pedersen has the right idea. Brace for impact, fall, wait for red lights, get up once exclusion light comes on. walk back to pits with helmet off if he is in the re-run. sometimes taking a dive is for the best result for the lead rider. It can be said "He could have stayed on" but for what reason? A rider is leading only for a desperate lunge inside him then the charging rider forces him to stand his machine up & head to the fence then watch the other two riders pass as he regains control & continues metres behind. So many times a rider has to go down for a race to be stopped. So why should a rider ever try to stay on if he believes he has been unfairly passed?

Yesterday in Poland Vaclav Milik was absolutely sandwiched out of the start and managed to hang onto the bike but the race was stopped and restarted with all 4 back even though he didn’t fall off. Not the first time it’s happened in Poland either.
