topsoil
So according to the Speedway Star, next season a team could finish sixth out of eight, get beaten in the firat round of the playoffs and still go on to be champions! BartoszZmarzlikFan
You know the Ostrow management are just in it for the profit when a couple of 1st division sides are stronger than the team they've put out.

Maybe they are doing something similar to some football teams who have gone into the Premier League knowing they will struggle to cope and stay up.. That is. Spend 'some' of the increase in money they will get and bank the rest... That way when they go back down they can still attract better riders in the 2nd tier to gain promotion again.... And that time spend more than they did the first time they went up giving them a better chance to stay in that top tier whilst also having the club on a firm footing financially.. Getting 'carried away' by the huge TV and Sponsorship sums on offer when reaching the top tier has had a negative impact to many football teams who found they spent well above their means and didn't use the money to build for the future.. Maybe Ostrow have a longer term plan than just having the one year at the top so are playing a longer game...?

Najjer
Just waiting on the formalities of Janowski to Wroclaw and Lambert to Torun to be confirmed and that is pretty much all Esktraliga squads closed and confirmed. Just waiting on news of Francis Gusts who so called had agreed a deal with Wroclaw but the rejection of introducing a foreign junior could well put a halt to that signing. No news as of yet

No news as of yet Now confirmed that both Janowski and Gusts join Wroclaw - very surprised at the signing of Gusts still going through after the foreign junior was rejected! He is only riding in the UK anyway, so doesn’t really effect him. He is also signed up for the Gorzow U24 team, so far from a waste of a career and a chance to actually really kick start it. Im actually disappointed Brennan hasn’t moved to Torun as rumoured and is at Lodz where he is likely to get many or any outings. At Torun he would be getting plenty in the new league.
