Sorry. My source told me 6 rides. I'll have words with him when he gets back from the IOW later!!!

Speedwaynews is wrong and you are correct. If you add up the rides taken you will see that Fjelsted are one short (27 instead of 28). Basso rode in heat 14 finishing last.

See https://rs.dmusport.dk/loeb/5436

Still a good performance.

Dont think anyone is surprised!! Always has been and always will be an awful track

Nothing wrong with the track. Yes it was dusty from heats 1-10. Mainly because it was overcast all day and they were probably worried about it raining. Can you imagine if they watered it and we had a KL/Sheffield situation on our hands! They did get the water truck out in the break and was a lot better from H11 onwards, passing and everything!

But seeing as you are all track experts maybe you can sort it out for next week?

There was no dust of any consequence after heat 4. Track was watered then and the dust was negligible. Certainly is was underwatered before the meeting though, as I said on here last night.

The Poole track has been superb so far this season - imo the best its been for several seasons - up until Wednesday when it was pretty poor and overly slick.

The dust upto heat 4 was bad but as others have said the watering before heat 5 and every 4 heats thereafter kept it down.

Ron Preston for example.

What a talent he was

Oh, I don't remember him. What year would that have been? I was thinking more Sam Ermolenko, Greg and Billy, Janniro, Fisher, Wells etc. Even though 3 of them never rode for Poole they all seemed to score well.

Edit - aarggh and Luke Becker of course! 16 points at reserve when he came with Wolves in 2019. How could I forget that!
