Ellis won heat 15 l have watched the dvd to confirm this believe the referees scorecard was wrong

Whatever happened on track the referee's scorecard is by definition  - the result.

Last time I saw this was at Plymouth in 2020 when the wrong Thompson twin was excluded.

The BSPA website is the referee's scorecard and would be the  official result.

Rule number 1 - The referee is always right

Rule number 2 - In the event of the referee being wrong please refer to Rule number 1

It matters, especially in the above case if you happen to be a Thompson Twin and / or when it's your team.  Relting a tale: I recall chatting to ref folowing a match at Hull, Craven Park wehere the ref's box was pretty much in line with the start (this is important) , he was quite friendly so a mate mentioned he'd got the result wrong in heat ?? in giving it to the Hull rider.  The ref replied "oh yes I know the race you mean, well it was a close finish and I wasn't 100% sure who'd won so I gave it to the home rider to keep the crowd happy".  Words fail(ed) me, which I'm told doesn't happen often ....

It does Matter,

They said on Speedway Tavern last season,

that all Referees are " Volunteers "...............

Can somebody tell me,as we had a few bad

decisions on the track last season!. Without

program mistakes etc .

Well they get fees,,, so not what I would call a volunteer.
