arnieg
So in reality the only issue is why is the operative date for Dan Thompson's new average 28/7 on the latest greensheet issue when I think there is universal agreement it should be from 25 July?

Agreed! Interestingly he moves into the team away at Poole but not for Plymouth the night before...

Still fancy it will be a home win, not confident our heat leaders enjoy riding the track. Well I was right about Howarth, the Bears guests did rather well (26 paid 34 so thanks lads) and the Bears heat leaders scored well. Good 4 points.

MrP
No complaints best team won. Much sharper out the starts. Diamonds riders apparently not happy with the track.

Took a while but some decent races towards the end. Expected more fight from the home team , Howarth being the star man by a long margin. Bears guests were worth every penny, excelling them selves and added to good scores from the three Bears then it was an easy win. Couldn't get near the famous food as the cues were way too long but that was the smallest crowd I’ve seen for a Redcar derby match. Hope it improves as don’t want to lose our ‘nearest and dearest’.

Nothing at all, a little dusty but to be expected but perhaps the home riders wanted it done differently?. The riders were given the ‘ hair dryer ‘ treatment by the management perhaps that was the only excuse they could come up with ? Expected more from J.Wright and Roynon but if you fall off on the parade lap then expect issues !
bri1966
Where is the James Greives line around the 3rd and 4th bend? That was a painful watch. Anyone coming for the first time will think again about spending their hard earned to see a bore fest. Ps Roy is such miss between heats on center green
MartinBSN
Track was the best I've seen it in years. Lacking a little moisture to create anything on the outside but had clearly been prepared for the inside cut backs the way it was ripped up! Certainly smoother than Rough Park of old! It’s much quieter on the centre green without Roy, yes I agree but it’s no miss
Dandelion
Track was very different to usual, it actually looked really good to me, maybe the riders weren't happy as it just caught them out a little bit, they didn't even do a track walk at the start? Is there ANY atmosphere in the pits whatsoever? I wouldn't be surprised if not with the manager merry-go-round and the lack of any real big hitters. Shame as the first few home meetings (Leicester and Scunthorpe in particular) were brilliant and the lads put up such a big fight, where tonight they seemed to struggle more with keeping their front wheels down on a much grippier than usual track. I liked the new track, this track curator is clearly one of the best about, the riders just need to get used to it now... Adam Roynon's hatred for Brough Park clearly isn't disappearing anytime soon either... I know he seemed to have major bike issues with his first bike, but he still seemed to struggle just to keep two wheels on the ground the rest of the meeting. Really hope Max Clegg can come back to the Max of 2019 too, massive shame seeing him struggle like that
