I would agree he has found his level and injuries haven’t helped. Pre last night averaging 10.17 no reason why he can’t achieve a 10 point ave which would be his best return at pl level ever.

Pleased they got on with it. Hate dragged out meetings. As for the track, there was as much passing last night as when Helmsley designed the original track. Almost none. I have been to Leicester quite a few times over the years and can count the amount of passing there on my fingers of both hands. Hardly ever any. Gate, make sure you are leading down the back straight and game over. Last night in heat 15, once Worrall had gated, I thought the only way he would lose it is if he had an ef or a bad mistake.

They have changed the shape by bringing in the corners but something is still seriously wrong. The inside off bend two needs to work but once on the high line a rider could bust a gut, only to see the other rider ride the wide line and maintain the lead. The third and forth bends just don’t seem to give any opportunity of a pass, though Hans fell asleep in one heat allowing Worrall up the inside for a straight. The club had the opportunity of a Bydgoszcz shaped track from the get go and completely blew it.

Sorry but that’s how I see it and his scores show the same. When he came onto the scene he was a bright rising star who looked destined to go places. At Swindon he looked a real force and with Doyle was very hard to beat. But the fact that Poland are not interested, and his scores are mediocre shows the forward momentum he had has vanished, and he is now at his level. Potential unfulfilled.

Honestly, if the track is as bad as you make out after several visits, why the the hell did you bother to make the journey last night (assuming you are based in the Poole area, about a 4 hour journey?). Regardless of the track and passing opportunities, Poole were well up for it and the better team on the night. Whilst I don't get to visit many away tracks (although I have been to Poole a few times), I do watch Premiership and GP meetings on TV and don't see a much superior product in terms of passing.

Yes, the original track shape was a cock up, but a lot of work has since gone into improving racing opportunities. It might not be Belle Vue, but it has improved. Has it occurred to you that the racing may be down to the quality of riders? I have watched breathtaking races between Doyle and Janowski before any significant track alterations were made. Some riders pick up on negative track comments and have up front excuses for poor performances instead of attacking the track.

I'm in Dorset in a months time ( might visit Wimborne Road), if I come across you, I'll buy you a pint and we'll have a bloody good laugh. You have been warned!

100% agree, I thought the racing was far better when we were in the top division and put this down to the quality/skill of the riders on view. Scott Nicholls departure has been of severe detriment to the entertainment value on offer so far this year imo. There's only really Bomber and Scott that I have seen pass with any regularity around BP in the middle tier league.

Dan & Joe (and the rest of the team) have served up some great passing around the outside this year, but Saturday's track v Poole was hardly conducive for an outside pass.

Yes, you can certainly tell that Dan & Joe have done a lot of laps around the track when you watch them.

I must be seeing different racing to some, I could swear i saw Nick Morris beat Danny King from the back in a great race a couple of weeks ago, he also passed Tero Arnio against Scunny and was pretty close to Steve Worrall before his fall on Saturday.

Lets face it the track was pretty darn slick on Saturday, and the racers in the Lions camp struggled.

I'm going to bet that he rubs it right in your face on Wednesday. ..

Ironic that a certain person who attended celebrated like there was no tomorrow despite making out that we had no chance of winning.

He wouldn't be any good as a team manager. Ok the odds may av just favoured Leicester but you gotta get behind the lads.

Also Leicester av a far better track surface than at Poole with the in built Wimborne wave machine!

Gud job Stevie W isn't Sea Sick Steve on board the Pirate Ship ☠️

Fantastic win, back on the road again!
