MD
Track looks bumpy and inconsistent, hardly likely to give confidence regardless of who the riders are.

That's when I used to go. Yes, it was really good. I reckon Scud Smith would liven things up! ☺

Cue Ball
Stock cars were there last weekend - in contrast to how they normally leave it, it looks positively smooth. As has been said - racing at Owlerton used to be superb, but bikes these days can’t handle the dirt that you need to make the lines around the outside work unfortunately. Surely this is the last time we endure Batchelor. Please

But was always a bit narrow for such a big track.. The air fence narrowed it even further as the riders used to go as wide as they could up against the fence, especially on turn two... Now the inside just keeps the grip and there doesn't seem to be the drive wide that there used to be.. Similar to the match I went to against the Aces... Fast, but not much entertainment... LagutaRacingFan
I can't believe people used to compare Sheffield and Peterborough's track.

LagutaRacingFan
I'm hearing Sheffield might bring in Chris Holder for Batchelor.

LagutaRacingFan
What has happened to Hans? I remember when I first started following speedway in 2006, he used to score maximums for us. He would always go 3,3,3,3. Never does that anymore.

LagutaRacingFan
Is Bomber playing his way into GB's Speedway of Nations Team? On tonight's form, he could still compete at the top level.
