Edinburgh vs Glasgow - 23/07/21

Recommended Posts

The plucky perennial ‘also-rans’ from the west come for their first visit of the season to the home of speedway this Friday. Forecast looks more than favourable so should be a cracking night’s racing.

The blue and gold should be at full strength assuming Nathan can shake his knock.

Edinburgh by 20.

We will do well to win this match.

Will struggle if Lawson ‘rides’ like he did against Newcastle. Is Kye still at reserve and has Joe now returned a negative coved test?

I would think Kysie has done his 4 X 4 and will have a 'proper' average, which will put him back into the 1-5, at the expense of Willie.

If Joe Lawlor is still smit by the virus, the Monarchs' can pull the kind of trick they did at Berwick, when they used Drew Kemp as a 'like for like' guest!

Even if lawlor was there still would’ve hit you for 50 even without said “ringer”

Thomson is now no. 4 in the latest GSA & Lawson reverts to no.6 in average.

With Worrall &Greaves nursing injuries, & Monarchs unable to now use Thomson to take extra rides from reserve, that doesn't help the cause.

We are now back with a weak reserve combination.

Looks like Glasgow will be in the right place, at the right time, on Friday and should expect to win.

Hurt his ankle on Friday night.

belle vue put out post saying he was ill this morning but then changed it to having hurt his ankle at his last meeting in the afternoon because if it was a non speedway related injury he would have to sit out for 7 days lol Joe  lawlor back unless he falls and hurts his wrist or eats a dodgy burger lol lol

You must have been suffering from sunstroke that dayB)

If this happened only reason it may have been called off is the following.

The sun was that hot that the shale was baked and turned to concrete.

is that maybe plausible.

Would like to think that Edinburgh promotion are looking at changes. Trouble is not many decent riders on William’s average about. We are back to being weak at reserve.

Apparently Lawlor is an injury worry he must have slipped when doing  his latest lateral flow test

Richie might have stood on his foot with his plaster on his injured ankle.

And here was me thinking he was feeling unwell.

Joe must be following the science which says a LFT is more accurate if you stick it up your ar5e.
Must have slipped….
