So much for the Hay Fever then.Heppel, Barrie and Dodds really need a reality check ,it’s ok keeping it positive but it’s pathetic some of the articles they scribe.

Beat me to it.

Can’t disagree sadly. 1 pass I can recall (Greaves on Bickley) before I started to genuinely lose interest … otherwise from the gate! I paid for a season ticket this year you know

I'm sure there will be better matches for your season ticket sabs, as for the track alterations on the tracks like hull and exeter which were all around pitches like berwick any attempts to produce a smooth track or "improve" the shape always ended by being reverted as it turned the tracks into gating strips.

Make no mistake about it from a Berwick point of view last night was as bad as the score suggests, it was un-professional, and totally un-acceptable for this team to represent the people who turned up last night and turn in a performance like that. Thing is does any of us believe we have a team manager or a promotion who will leave the riders in no doubt that there can be no repeat of that performance in future, now I have been onto our wonderful website but I am guessing it will be usual clap trap about forgetting tonight, turning over a new leaf, moving on etc, there may even be a snide comment about Edinburgh using Drew Kemp as guest as there was on here the other day and again on the parade last night. Face Berwick Edinburgh used the rules to their advantage just as Berwick did with the Garcia/Anderson saga, the original hokey cokey signing, he`s in then he`s out then he`s back in again. Most worrying of all is that most of us saw this coming and I don`t see last night being our last home defeat. I will exempt Leon Flint from criticism as he has carried the team for most of the season, and on last night Danny Gappmaier. Even Aaron Summers, who has has his critics on here which I understand, has the decency to win 50% of our race wins which wasn't difficult as Berwick only had two race winners all night.

Take nothing away from Edinburgh, they were excellent, when a good team riding well comes to a poor team riding as Berwick did last night then this is what happens.

Don’t expect changes,it’s one big happy family.
PS

I thought the track was crap tonight, but I’m only a paying punter who has never ridden a speedway bike.No doubt that’s how the Team wanted it done.Pity they can’t gate.

Track was very slick, and no amount of water they dump on it hit helped. Surely though we must have riders who have the knowledge and experience who can make the necessary bike adjustments to get them out of the starts which they seemed incapable of doing last night.

What the hell was he watching then as from where I was standing we rode like absolute pish!

Do you think these are Gary`s original comments or what the author of the match report thinks he would say.

If you read it clearly states what he said.

Posted by Leon Flint on his Facebook page, sadly we cant have seven Leon Flints. Other riders are yet to comment.

Literally couldn’t sleep last night after what happened yesterday. It simply just isn’t good enough and all I can do is apologies. Few weeks now to go back to the basics and sort it out and think what we need to do to come back stronger.

I have no criticism of Leon as he has done  all what he has been asked, but feel he has maybe taken on too much to soon with all his other commitments, might be started to suffer from burn out and  lack of equipment to service all his meetings.Apart from Danni who is riding up to his capabilities IM0 don’t know what to make of the rest.

I don’t know… but if they are his original thoughts then I’m sorry but that is not good enough for me as a paying fan!

Leon Flint has absolutely nothing to apologise for that young man has been one of the very few bright spots in this otherwise shambolic season loving watching him develop  and some of the others could take a leaf out of his book..

So what was the problem last night I think we all know the team are way below what they should be in spite of what Barrie said about the Monarchs beating a good Bandits team bollicks they did, Bandits are very poor and the racing is practically none exsistant .. But I wont take anything away from Edinburgh they were good but like others have said they were made to look brilliant by a very poor Berwick..

Doesn’t seem like the track alterations have done anything to the actual racing. Still very one line.
I know William spent hours in the workshop yesterday morning so glad to see his efforts turning into points. Kye again on a track he’s never seen was outstanding. Most pleased for Nathan, willing to learn hadn’t really scored what he’s deserved the last couple of meeting but did last night which was pleasing. Masters is a joy to watch absolutely effortless last night.

Still think William’s equipment seems sub standard. Fact Kemp was in team and Kye also at reserve shows where we have been struggling.
