It was fair for about an hour. Started light rain again now.

Not looking good here just round the corner from the stadium

Very heavy shower now. That might put the lid on it.

Not long till flint moves from reserve to number 1. Is it even possible with this rising star nonsense.

If the rising star riders average`s are not protected then the system isn't worth having.

Shame that the rest of the team isn’t up to scratch as you’ve effectively got a number 1 at reserve at the moment.

Leon’s had a lot more time on the bike than the others and it’s paying dividends. Tremendous tonight. Danny rode well . Got to give a mention to Matty wethers who showed he is still a class act around Berwick. Enjoyable meeting . Great job by the promotion .

Are you not aware that nothing negative said against the Berwick team or club will not be tolerated on these threads by the resident happy clappers. I’m sure you will be called out accordingly for your sins on the clubs dirt extra column next week by the select few invited on there to brown nose :D

Feared the worst about 6 with that heavy shower, but credit to the promotion for holding their nerve and the riders for putting on a show. Pleased with the win and an outstanding performance by Leon, but being honest, it feels like papering over the cracks. I fear for this team up against some of the top teams in the league. The Berwick team was put together based on riders progressing, but for most the opposite has happened. We need the main body of the team to get their form back.

While it's great to see Leon making great strides and piling up points, it's not a recipe for success when you are relying on your number 7 to do the heavy lifting for you.

End on a positive note, I was chuffed for Matty Wethers tonight. Always struck me as the kind of rider you would love to have in your team. Guaranteed effort, a racer and a good guy. Still remember his horrific crash against Edinburgh and great to see him still scoring points.

Agree with your assessment of the Team.Matty Wethers has always been a good team player and gives 100%, we could do with a few like him in our colours.
