VIDEO! Great Heat 3 action from Tuesday's Plymouth v Poole Championship KO Cup match;

No it’s not heat 3. It’s heat 13

No it’s not great action. It’s follow the leader, it’s from the gate

If that’s what “the powers that be” consider great action, no wonder British Speedway is struggling

Full marks to Plymouth and others for the presentation - rather better than Eurosport!

To be honest the entire Speedway GB website is woeful in design and content which I am afraid is very old fashioned web design and a complete and utter mess of a layout. But done right, could be made to be so appealing as a fast, thrilling action with use of good images and layout.  Speedway GB is how not to do it... Speedway GP is how to do it!

Example, this is a cluttered mess, nothing stands out, it's all lost.  Less is more!

In all honesty, most club websites are awful these days. Websites appear to be going out of fashion and social media is the in thing - but a huge percentage of fans wont read social media and move on with the times. How often do we see people post “can someone tell us what was said as I refuse to use social media” etc.

The better sites are the more independent ones.

Look at Berwick, Eastbourne, Glasgow, Poole; Redcar excellent content and visuals and regularly updated.

Similar with those Clubs socials too.

The more formula based ones (from the same outlet that does SGB) are less interesting and need modernising totally agree on that..

We will have to agree to disagree, the content maybe decent enough on some of those sites mentioned but the general design and layout in particular is awful. Have you tried accessing any of those sites on a smart phone?

I use a smartphone to make calls and look at basic content.

I use a tablet to look at websites and more detailed info

I use a laptop when I really want to read something properly.

I am a proud BOF - boring old fart...

216 Metres per lap. Shortest track in the country by some distance

Good racing though, look at the tracks in California, most are very small even by British standards yet the produce entertaining racing, it's on my bucket list when i retire to go there and Australia to watch some racing
