2ndbend
As heat 8 is a protected heat shouldn't it be for the RS riders.?

Bruiser
I cannot see the point of the Rising Star if they are not number 7…they need to be in heat 8 and unable to be replaced…as it stands a reserve like Ostergaard will always get heat 8 and the rising star will continue to struggle and earn no money which isn’t really helping anybody
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
If the averages dictate then the RS won't even stay at reserve let alone at No7.....

Bagpuss
Maybe the rising stars should be in 2, 8, 12 and 14?

TotallyHonestJohn
This Rising Star thing wants done away with... the rule should be if you don't have a 6 average in the Championship to convert down to a Premiership average of 4 you cant race in the Premiership... one of the ideas was to ensure strength at reserve and bring kids on whilst ensuring an even playing field to select from... Rubbish... Why do the BSPL try and restrict teams with ridiculous schemes and apply it across all teams... let the NDL and the Championship do their job and bring these kids on and when they "Prove" they are good enough for the Premiership with an average that has been developed through competitive racing in the lower leagues and can demonstrate that they are ready to race in a more physical and competitive environment then put them in... szkocjasid
I'd prefer the lowest averaged rider (in all leagues) to be at number 7. Look at the Peterborough vs Wolves TV match, Ostergaard & Andersen in heat 8, which is protected, but Palin meets the Masters / Nicol & Morris / Douglas pairings, which aren't protected? Protecting heat 8 is pointless if you don't have your weakest rider in it!
