Masks or no masks

Recommended Posts

Is this Covid thing more transmissible in Kings Lynn and Peterborough, but not at Wolverhampton.

Fans did not have masks on at Monmore last night, but we have to wear them at Lynn and Peterborough apparently?

Strange virus....

You only have to wear them in the stand at Peterborough

If you are in  the open air and socially distanced which currently should be with the capacity restrictions then no masks should be required!

You have to wear that at all times, everywhere at Lynn. Weird one.

Same at Ipswich

Is that because you're particularly ugly in that part of the world?

Please take that as a joke... You do have a regional stereotype to live up to!

That's pretty much the same at Wolverhampton except you have to wear a mask when walking around the one way system going to the toilet but, once in the toilet there doesn't seem to be a capacity and everybody takes them off to pee

In answer to wearing masks on terraces, sadly it's a prerequisite of Ipswich council and we have to abide by the ruling to be able to run meetings,  and trust me they are in attendance checking.

All seems a bit random. It could be worse. I read the Poole T&Cs for paying to watch and that included a visor on entry if unable to wear a mask! If you've got issues with a mask for a particular reason which you do not need to specify then you could have the same issue with a visor.

Hands, space, face and fresh air - sort of knackers all 4 really.

And that's the same at Owlerton. In fact it was pretty much a 'normal' meeting crowd on the 3rd/4th turn, you could stand where you wanted,me and dad had our usual place with plenty of people within arms reach,so to speak.

The home straight was split in two though, with the season tickets holders towards the first turn and the pay on the gate fans near the pits end and a large gap in the middle. There was also a smattering of fans on the first turn under the new building.

Do Ipswich council make you wear a mask walking down the High Street too?

Not sure we needed to know about your knackers when you went for a pee :D

I can assure you that I've never been to Wolverhampton or any bogs within it. Bad choice of word in the circumstances. Must try harder :)

I went to Belle Vue v Peterborough and you wore a mask entering the stadium and going to the bar and food van but you never had to wear it sat in your seat…seats were pretty booked and distanced anyway with ticks showing the sold seats. So no issue there.
