spin king
Interesting to see how the Rising Stars for each team are faring so far, So going from top to bottom based on averages without bonus points for meetings raced this season. (1) Tom Brennan Belle Vue 4.00.. (2) Drew Kemp Ipswich 3.30 (3) Josh Bates Sheffield 2.46 (4) Ryan Kingsley Kings Lynn 2.00 (Now replaced by Connor Mountain) (5) Tom Bacon Wolves 1.82 (6) Jordan Palin Peterborough 0.67 Interesting Anders Rowe who featured on the Rising Star list but not used as a Rising Star has an average of 6.57

LagutaRacingFan
I saw Jordan Palin vs Belle Vue at the Showground and he looked very poor. Tom Brennan was very impressive.
Trees
I think that the rising star scores shouldn't be added to the team total, maybe then promoters wouldn't drop them and they would get the valuable experience they need?

Then the team with the BEST rising star won't gain big time and the team with the poorest rising star won't feel the need to drop their rider for another ...... look what happened in Poland when Gorzow had Zmarzlik at reserve all those years ..... old bob at herne bay
Didnt think ayou could drop a rising star ..... you are saddled with them for the entire season. Totally stupid idea, blocks another rising star from having an opportuniy for "valuable experience" There is some who believe that the more you practice the better speedway rider you become. total nonsense of course. Some riders have it , some don't.

M.D
13 from 5 rides today for Eastbourne from Tom Brennan. Don't forget he missed most of 2019 with a bad leg break and of course most of 2020 due to covid. This lad looks a top prospect

marko
Tom Brennan certainly has the pedigree. Anders Rowe is doing amazing, seems only like yesterday he was racing in junior heats around Lakeside, he was not a Lakeside asset but he was there pretty much every week getting experience, that track of course is now gone but its legacy of giving youngsters track time will live on for a while yet. Nathan Ablitt is another I keep an eye on from Lakeside days.
Sings4Speedway
Bates "should" be destroying the averages but has been very poor thus far and being shown up by riders really grabbing the chance. Brennan has been unlucky not have more points and been very competitive and Rowe showing his class by opting out of the scheme and doing his own thing....certainly did Rob Lambert no harm

Baldyman
Not sure why people were worried about Bates,, including myself,,, he does not alot apart from crash. He should think about quitting before he goes himself or someone else serious harm
