scunny1
Always on a wing and a prayer when riders double up, knowing they are racing on Thursday and then for us on the Friday. Well at least Josh is back
Hunters
On paper looks like an Eagles 4 match points tally. With all of them in form and Brennan looking like a 4th Heat Leader it will be a monumental task for the Scorpions particularly if Kennett has solved his mechanical problems. Delighted to see they are replacing Kemp with Nathan Ablitt. Another very promising lad who no doubt will be over the moon riding in the CL and probably again on Sunday.. lucifer sam
PLEASE note there are still roadworks on Normanby Road, right outside the Eddie Wright Raceway, so please leave extra travelling time for Scorpions v Eastbourne tonight (7.30pm). Thank you! Thomas Jorgensen is all set to ride for Attis Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions against Eagles, despite a heavy crash at Ipswich last night, which left him as badly winded.

eric i
This will be close, Scunny have got the better reserves but they need Auty and Aarnio to turn up because Eastbourne have a decent top 5.

IronScorpion
Another difficult home meeting for us & I expect it to be tight.(47-43 either way, hard to call but we don't want a last heat decider against Kerr & Lawson). We have had a difficult last week but hope the riders have got their issues sorted. Auty ......... injured knee & no1 bike damaged Jorgy ........winded last night in a heavy fall Aarnio ...... machinery issues Palin ......... no1 bike returned to pits in tractor bucket at Belle Vue Monday

Robinh88
Enjoyed tonight at the EWR. 15 heats done in just over 75 minutes. Half a dozen or so good heats and a fairly close score line throughout. Jordan Palin looks a bit special though.
the hobbit
four of us Brummies fans were supposed to be going to Redcar but the M1 was shut due to an accident and it was mayhem. With our eta going from 17.45, to 20.30, and still being in queuing traffic, 85 miles from Redcar, we gave up and diverted to Scunthorpe. The meeting went through at a rapid rate of knots! It was a cracking meeting. Jordan Palin is an outstanding prospect why are people asking for Aarnio to be dropped? He had a good meeting. Give these lads chance, they’ve had the best part of 18 months off. Give them time to get going before you sack them!! seen a lot of gloomy predictions on here about your final league position but on the evidence of tonight, you won’t lose many at home so no way it’s going to be as bad as the doom merchants are predicting. sit back and enjoy seeing young Palin progress. He was worth the admission money on his own tonight !!!
