Swedish Elitserien League final 2nd leg Wednesday 6th October live on TV

Recommended Posts

Fantastic racing in Kumla in front of 1225 spectators. Indianerna will be kicking themselves that they didn`t win but Masarna kept battling away for the deserved draw. Zengota and Fricke got double figures for the home team with Bellego leading the way for the Avesta team with 12, backed up by the Pawlicki brothers. Prem 11+1 and Piotr 10+1.

Deliberately left Rosspiggarna v Piraterna to watch last as i knew the racing would be rubbish !!(leave the inside and you are history !) and the video matched it !! 2 surprise RR`s in the match- Nilsson for the Hallstavik team and Kildemand for the Motala visitors- i`m sure that was not apparent before the start. Attendance was 1403 and i`m sure they were as bored as me watching it. Lahti top scored with 14 from 6 for Rospiggarna and there were 3 big scorers for the visitors - Jamrog 14+1 from 7, Seifert-Salk 13+3 from 7 and Fajfer 13+1 from 6.

Skeppare is a commander of a smaller ship, but in this case people working on the shipyard that once existed in Västervik.

I believe Skepparna would translate directly to 'The Skippers'.

Keeping with the ship related theme, I think Kaparna translated to something like 'The Buccaneers' or 'The Privateers'.

Question: Why do some teams use their emblem name and others use their location name? It makes it mighty confusing when sometimes in commentary clubs are referred to with both/either or any of their names like Kumla/Inianarna/The Indians... sometimes it's like 6 teams are on show.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I seem to remember being told it was because many tracks ran a couple of teams in different leagues which had different nicknames.

If it is RR- only Doyle this week can`t take a ride.

R/R confirmed and Maciej Janowski, Luke Becker, Rasmus Jensen och Sammy van Dyck will be available for R/R.
