Yes we weren't allowed out of pits before during or after meeting. Another complaint about the draconian covid restrictions - The toilet block behind the main stand next to the pits had both the gents and ladies toilets closed with only the one disabled toilet open which meant that everyone requiring needed to use the one toilet! - Surely everyone using the one toilet is decreasing good hygiene levels? - Madness of the times we live in! As for the match, there was a few decent races in between the usual gate and go ones and the last heat decider was exciting. As for the Witches - I think the lack of an out and number 1 is going to hamper them and again they are relying on someone like Rowe has so far scoring far above his average and expectations. Crump looks decent if he gates but isn't going to get double figures regularly enough for a number 1 and Kemp needs to improve or it could be long season for him. Yes they were swapped around and that was cause Rowe was getting stuck in and producing the goods. Kemps had plenty of publicity but needs now to do his talking on the track. Bash Posted May 24, 2021 Report Share Posted May 24, 2021 Can't see Crumpy passing many riders if he misses the gate and when he was off gate 4, I turned to my mate and said he would come last. I know it's early days but he needs to be more aggresive. 8 points for Plymouth in the championship doesn't look good either. Some of our riders need to learn to ride wider as the meeting goes on. Jake had a good meeting but he really needed to ride the outside line in heat 15 as he was a sitting duck on the inside. There are precious few other things they can do. Kemp never looked like scoring after his first ride against the Aces and whilst Rowe started off great, best to use that to your advantage if you can I'd say.
