Apologies if this has been asked before, but is there anywhere on t'internet that documents the progression of Track Records?

What a good idea. I know many take no interest in the whole idea of race times and track records. But some of us do. Nutz was running a thread trying to keep the current list up-to-date:

Tracking the history of records is next to impossible. It's hard enough getting the current record for several tracks.

I've got a file in preparation that tracks records from 1928 to 2009 (you might have seen some of my track records questions in the History section).

I offered it to the researcher website but they declined it (see there 24th April update on the aims of their website).

It's based predominantly on the files on the researcher website.  PM me if you want a pdf of it.
