crescent girl
At last! An official speedway match to preview: Bullets: 1. Leon Flint (captain), 2. Ryan Macdonald, 3. Greg Blair, 4. Ben Rathbone, 5. Kyle Bickley, 6. Kieran Douglas, 7. Mason Watson. Stellar Devils: 1. Nathan Greaves (captain, 2. Sheldon Davies, 3. Tom Woolley, 4. Lewis Millar, 5. Danny Phillips, 6. George Rothery, 7. Gregor Millar. There will be a great many 'maybes' about this, and other early-season NDL matches, but we have to be happy that the season is actually going to be up and running. The teams will clash again in West Lothian on Friday 7th. Both meetings are behind closed doors because of soon-to-be-eased Covid restrictions, but will be live-streamed by the respective clubs. Should be a comfortable win for the Bullets IMO.

Certainly Bullets top three are strong but having seen all 14 in practice sessions recently , Phillips and Greaves will go well, Rothery could be the strongest reserve of the four and Woolley should be amongst the points but home track advantage will assist the less experienced for a comfortable home win.

With regard to the last remark above, I should clarify that I have no specific knowledge on live streaming of either match. I have been presuming there would be streams, but................... Islander15
So both clubs are doing a stream. Hopefully they get a fair few of their own fans and the neutrals log on to watch some speedway finally.
George Dodds
How much and how to buy the stream is on this link https://www.berwickspeedway.com/banditstv/
crescent girl
£6.99 is a good "early bird" deal for the first official speedway match in the UK for 18 months. Weather forecast for Saturday looks good, the teams are competitive and l would suspect there will be a healthy crop of interested neutrals logging on in addition to fans of both clubs. Bandits4eva
I’m going for a solid Bullets win with the only real trouble coming from Nathan Greaves! just looking forward to some on track action but it’s gonna be so hard just being up the road from it, hearing it and not actually being trackside :(
Mimmo
Good Luck Bullets, and safe evening to both sets of riders.
screm
Great to see competitive team speedway back, on what should be a very comfortable home win.
teaboy279
Can only see a big home win, with Flint and Bickley probably untouchable. I am fully expecting strung out races and limited passing, but I am happy to pay to see some competive British speedway action, once again

The new 3.00 riders will be nowhere near Flint & Bickley and probably Blair too. But there should be some interesting races between themselves. But at this point in time, I’m just glad that speedway is back and we’re able to watch it. Edited May 1, 2021 by Islander15
