Ultimately that's what matters. If the last year has taught us anything it's that statistics are only ever part of the story. And it's not as if the others on the 4* list are guilt edged prospects. Josh Bates final 2019 GSA is 5.20, bearing in mind he is likely to ride at no 7 how on earth can it be right to compare him with any of the other Rising stars riding at no 7 who have yet to ride in the Premiership.
