I have just been told Zaine Kennedy is not the 2nd signing & it will be somebody else coming into the team for Saturday.

It’ll probably be Kennedy then

How’s that work then?

Will probably be 3v6 4v5 then 1st v worst winner and 2nd v best winner in the semis

or

Possibly 2 groups of 3, race the other 2 teams in ur group h&a and top of each group race in final, think the young shield used to be like that

If Zaine Kennedy happens to be the worst kept secret since Hans Andersen, it may be that Leicester will have a guest on Saturday, pending his arrival and all of the paperwork being completed; also, coming from Australia, would he have to quarantine for 10 days? Don't know what the rules are for sports people and whether or not he would be classed as elite to be waved straight through the door at Heathrow.

If this 2nd signing has problems then will it have to be a NL guest not declared in a Premiership or Championship side?

When Hans Andersen is declared into the team line-up, Proctor and Bates will be removed and an eligible rider with an average of 4.01 or less will be declared; that rider will then be replaced by Kennedy in a new declaration as soon as he is available.

You’re wrong but nevermind

Last season (2019) the top four in the Championship made the play offs, where is the source (can't see anything on the SGB website, although it does state that it is the top four in the Premiership) that states it is the top six (as it was a few years ago) that qualify?

Just checked the 2020 rule book and I've copied and pasted those rules which it would appear will apply for 2021:-

2020 SCB Rulebook

012.1.1 Premiership & Championship Leagues

Championship League, teams will meet on 2 occasions, 1 home and 1

away. The League will then split into a North South divide and those clubs

will meet additionally on 2 occasions, 1 home and 1 away.

The quarter finals will consist of the 3rd v 6th placed team and 5th v 4th placed

team, the top 2 teams will go direct to the semi final. The team who finishes

at the top will have the pick of the quarter final winner in the semi final.

Can't see anywhere whether or not we will actually ride again against teams under the North/South divide this year with the season starting late, and whether or not it could possibly influence whether or not there'll be quarter finals.

That was the idea for 2020 but it never happened. The v2 Regs do not say of any changes but this year, a shortened version, is 11 meetings home & away.
