cityrebel
With the restrictions slowly being eased, has anyone ventured out to any sporting events. I have attended three speedway meetings at Lydd, Scunthorpe and King's Lynn. I have also been to two non league football matches at Leatherhead and Guildford City. It's been great to try and get back to some kind of normality.
Piotr Pyszny
Eleven cricket matches - various leagues - since the last week in July, when the sport was able to start its season. The 12th, in Newcastle, will be tomorrow. Most have felt slightly 'unreal'. Little evidence of social distancing amongst spectators, I'm afraid to say. mikebv
My lad has played six pre season friendlies and has the first game of the season tomorrow in the North West Counties League... Playing in the FA Youth Cup Prelim Round on Wednesday.. Approx 100 expected tomorrow and 300 on Wednesday.. All matches played in Stadiums.. Social distancing an optional extra I believe from what I have observed pre season.. ..

Chris116
Since we came out of lockdown I have had three meals with my wife in restaurants and a Stock Car meeting at Aldershot which is just under an hour by train and then a 30 minute walk. Sadly I have not got to a speedway meeting and doubt if I will this year. My wife normally does four or five trip abroad each year and will not be doing any for the time being. Both of us are getting rather fed up with life.

marko
Only go out to either work or get some food shopping, the odd visit to family every few weeks, Not planning on that changing anytime soon, I watch non league football but until you can go properly and watch without a mask etc, not interested, it’s not that I am against masks, but it won’t be the same, as for speedway, when I read in the star that Ipswich have been selected to run a meeting, I thought cool, but then it dawned on me the place will be rammed, then it dawned on me after that, no, it won’t be rammed because the gate will be heavily restricted for social distancing, so that means only the lucky few will get in and even then you will need a mask which means you won’t be able to smell the methanol like you normally can, sport is going to be so sanitised, better than nothing, but like I say, not for me. Just got back from Horley Town v Newhaven. Crowd was about 150. Only a few people were wearing masks, plenty of room to social distance.
