I've often thought with another stand the venue could host many other events

If this work all goes ahead then this will rule out the showground being used for large events like Truckfest,The motorcycles events and big camping events This years Truckfest was the last I have been told but I understand that speedway is confirmed for at least another 3 years and possibly longer. Ok it was written as the Arena And Events Centre so thought they were classing them seperate but obviously they were talking about the indoor building only then
stevehone
be interesting to see if Palin is fit for the P/Os, think he might be giving the U19 final a go on Friday
old bob at herne bay
Just wondered how much longer it would be before the showground site finally succumbed to a housing estate. Every time I have visited Alwalton the houses seem ever closer to the speedway track. Assume leisure facilities will include a gym to satisfy the planners. Local council will promise that the speedway track must be retained as part of thier planning permission and cannot be removed . Ah sound familar Rye House fans, Swindon fans ??? Nobody in thier right mind will be building a housing estate with a speedway track in their backyard - it will devalue the potential sale price of the housing. Money talks. Flappy
It's between Bjarne Pedersen 6.33 and Scott Nicholls 6.41 to see who goes to reserve for October. Last night's scores and the two home meetings next week still to be added.

Would prefer Nicholls at reserve if we can get to the final and face Wolves

mikebv
Peterborough have shown they have enough to win at any of the teams they will come up against.. However, Scott would be the 'ideal' reserve for Wolverhampton away, the one track widely dissimilar to the other two they could face.. If I was running Peterborough I would be making sure he ends the regular season at reserve...
ruckerroo
Be way way better for peterboro to have scott at reserve i feel, shouldnt be too hard to sort that .
scoobydoo
Might have to move MPT to 5 if Nicholls goes to reserve as they have spent nearly the whole season as a partnership
LagutaRacingFan
The bigger concern might be Hans becoming number 1. Would mean he wouldn't be able to take a rider replacement ride. Hope Rob is on the ball.
