AAR disqualified so Max 3rd and SuoLammi and Isoaho to ride for the title. Max Koivula was impressive for someone with little experience on the ice. Aki-Ala Rihimaki's move in the final seemed too soon and too desperate going for a gap on the second bend of the first lap. Unfortunately, the stream then broke up, so we missed the re-run final between Isoaho and Suolammi.
f-s-p
With some juggling the meeting is still on youtube. Isoaho won, suolammi had a spectacular off while second. Max has been riding ice now for two seasons. This was his first meeting, but he’s been riding regularly and weekly with his mates in the area.

f-s-p
So two meetings organised in all of Europe this season. One with PZM money and the other with money raised by Jani Koivula and meeting organised by Kauhajoen Moottorikerho. Who would have thought!

Bavarian
Isn't it amazing how the Russians are able to run their ice speedway Meetings durign this oandemic, and with crowds in the Stadiums (not many wearign masks either!). Seems to be no problem there ! Edited March 14, 2021 by Bavarian
Bavarian
Spectacular crash in heat 7 - Kolenkin was the one who had problems on the corners, and unfortunately Burmistrov was to close and collected his backwheel, and Anisov could not avoid the pile up. All three back on their feet is good to see. Ivanov's defeat of Bogdanov in heat 6 may have already decided the overall winner of the cup. DutchGrasstrack
No chance in the near future for sure. There were talks some time ago of having a new stadium near the Moto GP track, but don’t think it will happen. I live like 1 kilometer from the old ice stadium. Hotel has extended indeed.
