Aceslider
Full marks and thanks to EMTV yet again for keeping us entertained. Great also to see the 2 hosts posing a great threat to the Pearson/Tatum pairing!! Those guys just illustrate why we love speedway with their committed, well informed passion for the sport and their own team!! Footage was a bit grainy by today's standards, but so what. Great to see Cookie at the start of his career and also Kevin Wolbert in his early days at Monarchsville when he couldn't put a foot (or should that be steel shoe) wrong! Always thought John Branney would go places, but not sure what happened to him?

They are a credit to their team IMO and show how some are prepared to put themselves out for the benefit of their own community as well as promoting the sport as a whole.

How many club commentators have the integrity to describe the home pair's attempt at a first bend as "An utter disgrace and they have got exactly what they deserve!=". My hat goes off for such honesty (and bravery).Pass on my appreciation :-D I'm loving these meetings from Armadale. I can now see what great racing it can provide.  Edited June 12, 2020 by RobMcCaffery

I never watch "as live" for the specific reason that I can just fast forward their bit and all the other chat pish, or should that be pish chat and just enjoy the racing. It's the fact that they look to the side when the other one is talking. It's really really weird.

Joseq7
I see Waldorf and Statler are still persisting with looking to the side of an empty room in a different house. Can someone please tell them to stop it Rodney you plonker.

edmon
Â MONARCHS V NEWCASTLE Join us this Friday, 3rd July, from 7:30pm for our Premier Trophy clash with Newcastle from April 2006. In 2006 we were still in the process of rebuilding after our first title win three years earlier. In the Premier Trophy we pulled off an away win at Newcastle but we expected a tight contest when the Diamonds came to Armadale for the return on 28th April. Grieves, Stancl and Franc were formidable visiting heat leaders but this match proved notable for a brilliant display by Theo Pijper and some exciting riding from William Lawson.
