Tosh1218 Posted March 22, 2020 Report Share Posted March 22, 2020 My Dad is an 80 yr old Scunthorpe Scorpions fan and also an avid reader , due to the horrid virus were all having to deal with he has had to self isolate . With having a lot of time on his hands I'm wanting to purchase new or secondhand books relating to his favourite sport to fill his time .Before Scunthorpe we both followed Hull Vikings until there demise so what I'm asking can people recommend books relating to the sport and without the obvious one EBAY any outlets that stock these books or anyone wanting to sell some of there own collection . My list goes on, books all about speedway obviously but also books to really get one's teeth into and really get into & behind the stories told. Though I don't reccomened actually eating any of the titles .... The Moran Brothers, Kelly Moran - Hell Of A Life (to say the least), both by Brian Burford, Ivan Mauger - The Man Behind the Myth by John Chaplin.
