Paid everything on non refundable rates.... lol Yeah and i have booked for Gdansk, which is looking like a no-goer now. I believe i read somewhere Italy have banned any events where 1,000 or more would expected, so were the UK to do similar then Speedway will be affected. iris123
The important thing there is the bit about Premier League think they might have to play in an empty stadium within 2 weeks o so depending on the situation. Sure they can get away with it as can F1 and some other sports. I doubt speedway could though

I will be gutted for them.... In reality of course there will be thousands who attend the occasion outside the stadium to celebrate, so not really sure what the point would be?

Or they null and void the league just when they're on the brink

They simply dont have the income from elsewhere to cover the costs

Mimmo
With my wife having cancer in both lungs and me having a lung disease, I won't be travelling far to watch speedway or anywhere else outside my Norfolk base.
SteveLyric2
Serious question following the latest Italian 'lockdowns', will it affect Ipswich and Kent re Nico Covatti?? And will Amanda Castagna be allowed to attend FIM and SGP meetings? Edited March 10, 2020 by Skidder1

As for people like Covatti that have presumably recently returned from their homeland, have they been medically checked?

mikebv
Can't be long before this country does the same re banning mass gatherings.. When so many nations are starting to do it then it will leave you open to much criticism if you stay out and do your own thing.. And could look like a dereliction of duty should it become a major disaster..
