bellevueace
Very shocked by this sad news, Danny was a great character and entertainer, the sport needs more riders like Danny, great to watch and always gave 100% in every race, he will be sadly missed, condolences to his family. RIP. Edited February 6, 2020 by bellevueace
screm
This has been posted by David Ayres on Facebook. Danny's funeral on the 14th of February Go to Mildenhall Stadium which will be open about 12 noon. There will be a play area for the children so families welcome. Danny will be brought in about 1pm and go round the track escorted by the riders. Then on to the Crematorium for 2pm, Those with small children can watch the funeral streamed live to the Stadium as best not to take them to the Crematorium . Party time at the Stadium afterwards. Fish and chip shop will be open and the bar. Music about 7pm. All welcome to give him a send off. This is a celebration not a wake, so colourful clothing please. Danny's favourite colour is pink. All welcome.

And what a range of feelings it stirs. Sadness, profound sympathy, anger, frustration - the list just goes on. The recurring thought, "if only, if only." A son who was probably still suffering bereavement, picking up the courage to ask for help and perhaps being rebuffed. The loss now being felt by his father, partner and children. MIND is a fantastic charity, Samaritans is another doing life-saving work and they in turn need support.

Considering it was a working day and valentines day, the turnout was cracking. From Riders,Fans, ex riders, officials, friends, family, media. I left late afternoon but party in Danny's honour went on all night, just search facebook for some of the riders "singing" attempts at karaoke... lol sure Danny had a smile all day long.
IronScorpion
Now it,s Caroline Flack! Mental health is unreal plus the abject posting on social media can send anyone off the rails whether it is personal ,media orianated or financialial, there is always a trigger. Another sad loss for whatever reasons.

The sheer hypocrisy of certain sections of the media regarding her passing is stunning, the same organisations and individuals that where having a go at her are now spouting sympathy about her death
