Good Luck for the Season !

You are correct that setting below the 42 limit artificially inflates averages (although this should then force the top riders up/out). Yes it has been weakened again. The riders who made up last years teams started on a 36.00 average and finished on 42.00 (approx). These 42.00 worth of riders are then weakened by a further 7% down to 39 points for this year. It 's very simple to understand.

The only way he could get an average discount is if he missed the whole previous campaign through injury, which obviously he didn’t.

But you have to be injured and not just choosing to take a season out.
Barrow Boy 2
Tom Spencer is now a Leicester Cub Edited January 7, 2020 by Barrow Boy
MattJ81
Glad to see Tom fixed up, he was an entertaining part of the Heathens team last year with an unorthodox style and bravery that meant you had to keep your eyes on him, his knock at Leicester was a nasty one but I'm sure he will progress this year. Lenny Lion
So Leicester sign an novice who has never even ridden in the NDL in Danny Woodward but instead of knuckling down & trying to make a career in the sport professionally . Before he has even turned a wheel for the club he has made it clear he is more interested in drinking in the bar then racing for the club. Not a good way to introduce yourself to your 1st club & set a good impression. If you want to have a few drinks & get drunk then stay at home & go pub with your friends. We only want committed people riding for our club there are plenty of YOUNG & UPCOMING riders who would kill to have your team place which is what the NDL should be all about. Get him sacked immediately! Leicester don't need riders with a Facebook account, a sense of humour, and who might want to go and meet with fans in the bar after meetings! (P.s. Assuming this is the same Danny Woodward who rode MDSL for Carmarthen at Stoke, he usually drives his own van to meetings, and would therefore probably be on the orange juice in the bar. He's never struck me as someone who "is more interested in drinking (orange juice) in the bar then racing for the club".

Funny this.. seeing that he’s been training with me to get ready for the season... people are allowed to have a laugh too.. Jesus wept Having a drink after the race is like any athlete having a drink after an event. Which 99% of athletes at any level do.. need to lighten up buddy
