Had some pieces of good info to impart but couldn’t answer some of the questions the other commentator posed, which surprised me. Like how old are the Holder brothers ? which he was pretty close with 32 and
SPEEDY69
Seems like Lidsey's tapes offence was crucial. Does this have GP and/or visa implications? The heats I saw it seemed it was always rider number 1 in red, 2 in blue, 3 in white and 4 in y/b

ProudtobeaBrummie
Has Jack Smith got a ride in the uk in 2020 ? i dont think he has. Shame but he really has gone backwards . His childish tantrums have done him no favours .

OveFundinFan
Thanks for the link Bavarian. Very welcome on a cold foggy morning in north Cheshire. Nice smooth track. Interesting floating start gate, has a safety advantage of no uprights on the inside ot outside of the track.
Bavarian
Same here where it is snowing in Bavaria this morning. Isn't it great to see the people over there enjoying their speedway, not having to constantly worry about the Corona virus. Seems to be all pretty normal going in Australia. This was a rather tame race meeting so far until that nasty accident just now in the B-final. Rob Medson was thrown over the back straight fence after a collision, and so far has not got up to his feet again. Hope he's o.k. - it is a rather lenghty delay now, and they have not moved the injured rider so far. Doesn't look good.
Bavarian
Probably a broken leg for Medson. Not too bad, he is concious, that's the good News. Could have been worse.

But this week's speedway in Brisbane was called off because of covid - so all is not back to normal. I'm sure anyone promoting a speedway meeting down under is still worrying about all the time and money invested being written off because of a local lockdown. And for spectators there are still covid restrictions to cope with, e.g. https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/what-you-can-and-cant-do-under-rules/major-sporting-events
Bunce
Haven't they got Covid 19 in the Mildura area? Didn't see anybody wearing a facemask, and certainly no social distancing.
