Seem to remember it's between 3000 to 3500... The capacity is just under 1800 in the Grandstand and (I think), now 1200, maybe a couple of hundred more, (?) on the back straight.. They reduced the size of the back straight stand a couple of year ago.. Not sure if they planned to build the stand on the third bend that they had for the SWC or use the car park that is there for spectators at ground level.. Neila
Capacity was 9000 with the extra stand for world cup, would think a licensed capacity would be around 5000, but I doubt that that figure has been achieved
Mark
Just checked. Main stand sold out bar a few. What happens ?

Surely, they've only sold out of a smaller number set to allow for social distancing. Edited August 28, 2020 by Grand Central

The tickets were on sale long before lockdown.I got mine at thr beginning of the year.! The terms and conditions also stated no refund,in event of postponement, which I think is illegal ,they are valid for reschedule though. topaz325
So even if 50 % capacity crowd was allowed it would be difficult to social distance, looks likely to be behind closed doors.
Fromafar
They are certainly not keen to divulge any information on what is going to happen regarding this meeting if social distancing is required.Very poor media.
BuxtonTiger
They can not give any information until it is decided which Polish track it is being raced on.

To be honest not really bothered whether it goes ahead in GB,would prefer my refund for tickets.Their wording doesn’t fill me with hope though.Thats Speedway these days ,fans treated like mushrooms ,fed bullsh#t and kept in the dark. Super Blue
According to Wikipedia the National Speedway Stadium capacity is 6500 including temporary stands, 3500 without them. Social distancing would reduce those figures massively. And people are asking elsewhere on this forum why Foxhall stadium at Ipswich is probably getting the British final in September as a crowd testing event. Simple answer is that these days the 12000 capacity there means more paying customers through the gates than would be possible at Manchester. Must admit though that I'd much prefer to have Belle Vue's track than what we actually have at Ipswich for the quality of racing! Maybe they should explain to the Main Stand ticket holders how this will be implemented.Surely it would be better to Refund ticket money and wait and see the restriction before issuing New Tickets, then the fan know where they stand.
