stayawaywolf
I've been going to Monmore Green on and off since 1961. I haven't been for the last 4 or 5 years. The reason I stopped going is that, with so few teams in the league I got fed up with seeing the same opposition riders too frequently. At one point, I didn't know if Chris Harris was a Wolves rider, or was he a guest. Why not reduce the team averages and encourage some of the Championship teams to come into the Premiership? I recall this happening in 1965 when the Provincial league amalgamated with the National league. I appreciate that team averages is a contentious issue, but share out the better riders to keep team costs down. The standard of the pool of young British riders should over time rise.
