Any sign of stadium re-vamp as we are now in July of summer months when work was due to start :t:

I've said it before the Swindon fans need to start protesting! Both with the developers & the council. The Swindon management need to tow the line.

So come on you Robins fans.

There's no reason to lobby the Council. They were never going to pay anything towards building a new stadium. I'm sure as far as they are concerned more houses on this land would be more to their benefit with more Council tax & a bigger budget from Government for meeting the requirement to build more homes.

As we are now in the middle of Summer does anyone know if any work as started at the Stadium?  If not surely that is the end of Speedway there, very sad,

No surprises I'm afraid. The fat end of naff all has happened  - the place looks a right mess

The fact that the stadium owners have been spending money on the re-shaping of the greyhound track would suggest that they don't have any immediate plans to knock the place down for housing.

That doesn't guarantee the speedway will return of course.Time will tell.

To be honest not sure why this thread is still in the "SGB Premiership "  folder.  They are definitely not active in this years SGB Premiership, nor likely to be active in the future.

Shouldnt it be moved to the "Years gone by" folder ?

So what have the management said recently, have they updated the supporters at all, Rosco is not exactly a shrinking violet is he.

I really don't think that Alun Rossiter or Lee Kilby know anymore than the rest of us as neither has a penny piece invested in the project. Only Terry Russell will have contact with Stadia UK / Gaming International or Clarke Osbourne to obtain infomation or any idea of what is going on & if he chooses to tell his employees its all moving forward then that is the message they tell. But in all honesty its going nowhere & will not be coming back to this venue.
