Sadly the Swindon - Leszno test on March 16th has now been called off (apologies if that's not really news to anyone here).

The 2nd leg on March 24th in Leszno is doubtful but still on the cards.

Why, money? Or the coronavirus?

Crikey Rob Mc you sound like a fun sort of guy...

I think he often produces good, informed output. It's just the lapses into narky self-importance which spoils it, which is a shame.

I am pretty sure you didn't.

No I don't have an attitude problem, just a problem with those who keep niggling away at people which I have noticed with you for a while now. You begin to see a pattern of behaviour in people.

As for whether my approach here is different to my approach in life? Of course it is, I wouldn't let someone like you and several other forum members anywhere near me in real life.

Ironically Swindon's my nearest track but it isn't the kind of place I'd want to spend to much time or money at. Not the nicest or best-informed of supporters, rather like Poole.

that's not very nice bud to say things like that about any body if you cant say anything nice don't say anything at all

I don't know I'm afraid. Possibly the former, but maybe simply the lack of practice sessions so far. Leszno hasn't had an outing yet. Hopefully tomorrow will be the first one.

Not different at all. Nobody believed a new stadium would be built.

Not sure about that Steve . I got it wrong but I would say it was 50-50 with opinion about Belle Vue

Maybe so then. Perhaps it’s me but I don’t remember much positivity when it was mentioned a new stadium would be built to replace the old Kirky Lane.

I know there is a difference when we are looking at a council led build and a gaming company with a seemingly poor history.

I guess time will only tell but I hope the Swindon fans get what they are expecting.

Which team would win, 2007 or 2019?

Considering how the riders performed in those seasons and not on their reputations, I wouldn’t be so sure that the 2007 one would thrash the 2019 one:

2007

Adams

Chrzanowski

Gjedde

Ulamek

Richardson

Korneliesen

Moore

2019

Doyle

Ellis

Musielak

Jensen

Batchelor

Vissing

Perks

2007 was a lot stronger. That was before the sport went on a campaign of weakening and downgrading  the teams over consecutive years.

Do you think the 2007 2, 3 and 4 would beat last year’s counterparts based on their form in the respective seasons?

And Adams and Richardson would 5-1 Doyle and Batchelor?

The one thing 2020 has, possibly, is more of a winning mentality. Just on rider standard alone, 2007 is stronger for me.

The 2020 side performed better but the league was stronger in 2007.
