In 2018 Mitchell Davey signed for Swindon on 2.51 and in 2016 Klindt signed for Leicester on 3.53. And it appears that they can go below 4 mid-season because Wells went down to 3.66 for Poole. Has been for a couple of years Davey qualified as a UK citizen/passport holder Wells I think is listed as a 4 (although I'm sure I've seen somewhere he applied for citizenship)

YerRopes
Batch has been brilliant for the Robins these last two seasons, so am pleased Rosco has gone down this route.. If Tobiasz is riding here next year, I guess it will be Razzer and Vissing that miss out.. A shame whoever is forced out though..

If correct, making Ellis 6.33, Perks 3.48 , leaving room for a 4 pointer at No. 6, if Rosco can find another gem. But we don’t want that for the following year - as we would then have 4 riders with an 8+ average!

Well the riders and management need to ease off once a score of 45 is reached in each meeting, how many times have we had to get rid of a good rider to fit in with the daft team limits the following season. Falcon1983
There is no point is teams smashing other teams as the post above says, get to 46 points then throw away points to keep averages down. Doesnt help the pay cheque but might keep a team spot the season after I think grading would be a good option, would need an independent body to govern the grading looking at maybe a 3 season cycle of what the rider has achieved in the UK and Europe. Have Grade A B C D Then allows clubs to build according A, B, B, C, C, D, D would be the normal Or you could do A, A, B, C, D, D, D A, B, B, B, C, C, D A, B, C, C, C, C, D B, B, B, C, C, C, D offer 5 ways to build a team Have season averages but end of each season averages are replaced with a Grade
DC2
Grading is rubbish. Averages are much more accurate.

It used to be In Rosco we Trust(others pay cash), but Lee has made such a difference to Swindon speedway. Engages with the fans, more positive vibe around the place since he came in. Rosco and him work so well together. Swindon are the team to beat in 2020, as they bid for 3 titles in 4 years. Averages that grade a riders ability is one brilliant tool speedway has & other sports can only dream of. The way they are sometimes implemented & abused is the problem!
