Col
Did you get discount for buying a certain amount?

NO NAME 11
Apologies Col I should have explained it more thoroughly. I didn't get to know about any discount until I had selected the seats I required and continued to the payment part of the website. That particular page had each individual seat with the original price and a column which asked you if you wished for the discount. I must admit I don't think the discount applies to the dearer seats in the home straight stand as I did pick 10 seats there and the discount column was blank. I may be wrong but the discount appears to apply if you are buying tickets for children under 16. Am I correct or does it also apply to adult tickets? AFCB Wildcat
Looks like Ryanair have cottoned on to it this time. Flight prices from my local airport are double the normal price for the GP weekend next year
steve69
Yes, ticket prices for T4 up by 10% on last year. Done all the sights so just going out Saturday morning back Sunday night. At least it`ll save on the Hotel Bills. Noticed that RyanAir have put up their pre-booking charge on seats from a cheapest of £4 to £7. Suppose `old matey` has to get someone pay for his horses!!! You have potentially a big problem- you have brought U16 tickets- see https://www.speedwaygp.com/event/2020-prague if you want confirmation. If i were you, i would try and speak to ticket portal to try and sort it out.

Col
Got my tickets, apartment & flights booked, just got to hope Ekstraliga put a Friday & Sunday fixture within reasonable distance Leszno/Rybnik/FZG/Wroclaw. Easyjet flights to from Luton on the Thursday & Tuesday with hold luggage came to less just a shade over £200 for two people. Haven't been to Prague since 2003 (and that was a stagdoo) so looking forward to investigating the City again either side of the speedway. GWC
I went last year and really enjoyed the trip but the GP was probably the worst for racing imo.
paul666
I see Prague is on lock down, all events with more than 100 people suspended or cancelled. Tickets for speedway GP suspended.

Long time till June when hopefully everything will be back to somewhere near normal.

jeffster
Prague GP unlikely to happen, until 2022 or 2023.... https://news.expats.cz/weekly-czech-news/czech-borders-may-remain-closed-for-the-next-two-years-say-top-officials/ Czech borders may remain closed for the next two years, says top official Czech Crisis Staff head Roman Prymula told Czech Television today that border restrictions in the Czech Republic over the coronavirus situation may last up to two years March 22, 2020 4:55 pm Czech Crisis Staff head Roman Prymula told Czech Television today that border restrictions in the Czech Republic over the coronavirus situation may last up to two years, and largely depend on the management of the epidemic in other countries in Europe and across the globe, reports the Czech News Agency and Novinky.cz. While the situation in the Czech Republic is thought to improve from mid-April, estimates aren’t as optimistic for other countries in Europe. The situation in other European countries will not be good,” Prymula told Czech Television. “There it will take months and long months.” According to Prymula, international travel will most likely be limited for the next year or two, and Czech residents should count on taking their summer holidays within the Czech Republic this year. Prymula’s statements were supported by Czech Minister of Health Adam Vojtěch. “The point is to avoid having a second or third wave of the epidemic, so that people from other countries such as Italy, France, Spain, Germany, do not begin to flow [into the Czech Republic],” he told Czech Television. “I do not want to provide false optimism, but I hope that it will be possible to keep the number to 10,000 [infected with coronavirus],” Prymula added. “We are able to operate effectively with up to 15,000 [cases].” He also stated that precautionary steps taken by the Czech Republic have seemed to have a positive impact on the situation. “I don’t want to overestimate, but when everyone looks at the increase [in cases], we managed to fix it to less than the initial 45%, which was better than in Italy. We are able to flatten the curve.” The Czech borders have largely been closed for the past week, with exceptions for necessary freight and cargo transport, and for residents who live near the border and commute to work. They require daily documentation to leave, however.
