The only track with less I can think of is Plymouth, and it certainly feels dangerous for the crowd if a bike flipped over the fence. Would cause injuries imo, no doubt. Honestly No wonder you get the abuse you do... You don't read what has been posted and you just head off in your own direction... Once had a Staffy like you... thick as mince in a bottle... harmless but stupid... Regards THJ
Steve Shovlar
Again it must be a Workington thing. Weird and abusive responses when I am all for the track.

Well the one above is Newcastle. So can't blame it all on Workington!

There's a one metre perimeter fence around the safety fence at Peterborough, where in theory you could stand... if you had a death wish, If a bike don't get you the shale spray will

IIRC we had Hynek Stichauer and his bike both go over the fence at Plymouth in 2011 at the exit of bend 4 Neither he nor the bike made contact with anyone and amazingly Sticky walked back to the pits. His bike had to be carried back - it was very bent Edited June 29, 2022 by ancient mariner

Both riders thankfully ok.

Neila
Can just about remember in early 70's I was only 8 or 9 when a polish test side came over, everyone of them had a go at demolishing the fence, then in 1981 guy Wilson went over fence like a rag doll coming out of bend 4, taken off tho hospital then returned to Derwent lounge to a standing ovation, was the same nite a certain Ian Thomas had a police escort out of the stadium. happy days

Jenga we have been down this route before and the only thing I will confirm with certainty and without fear of contradiction is that my house in Maryport was built right on top of the old Jam Factory site... So it wasn't the residents of Maryport who were the "Jam Eaters" they just made the stuff and exported it round the county... I was once told by the manager of the Lifeboat a certain Mr Kemp that they didn't eat Jam in Maryport because they couldn't afford it... although how true that is I just dont know as Geordie Kemp has won the worlds biggest liar competition held in Cumbria more than yance... marra... ruffdiamond
So, what's the difference between jam and marmalade,,, apart from the price?,,, 'Preserve' is obviously only for millionaires.
