I think Bateses/Stead have had enough of Lasse Bjerre, but Stewart Dickson's his own man when it comes to team building. Doubt he would take the chance though.

Great news that Watling JCB is continuing the support, a loyal sponsor is like gold these days, but the club has to put in the work to keep the goodwill relationship. A far cry from the Hemsley days when relationships with sponsors were, I think, a bit turbulent.

So that's one up on Poole already. Next up is Dickson v Ford on the team building. Bring it on!

Think most Promotions will have enough of Lasse Bjerre.

If it's anything like the relationship with the fans it won't last long

Got my doubts Scott will be back, as good as he was this season, his best years are obviously behind him & to challenge for trophies you need riders to add at least half a point or more to their starting averages, as most of the team did this year. Scott is probably not going to add much, if anything, to his 8.35. Along with his TV duties on Saturdays i'd be surprised to see him back.  I'd like to see Perks, Mountain & Douglas back, although i'm not sure Douglas really mastered the Leicester track, as  his home average of 7.61 in comparison to an away one of 8.86 shows. I think Richie Worrall could feature again, if I remember when interviewed he said how much he likes riding  for Stewart Dickson, so if fully fit I could see him featuring. Whatever happens it's going to be hard to follow this season.

We'll have him!!!

BrizHeathen- I do hope that you and the family  will be a regular at Beaumont Park in 2020 and I do think it will be a good move for your boy.

As confirmed at the Leicester end of season presentation team plans are well advanced with some familiar faces set to return along with some new exciting riders to join the club. Let’s remember it’s a long winter so fans and management are still enjoying the success of 2019

I see Scotty won't be returning to the Lions den in 2020!!

Going to be a mad frenzy for Scotty.

Could the Brummies possibly fit in Scott and Bomber?

Likely South Coast I'd imagine, Poole ; Eastbourne ; Kent in that order...???

Probably the best decision for all kinds of reasons apart from the BT Sport thing. Think back to Joe Screen at Glasgow, there are some similarities I think and maybe Dickson has that in mind too.

It's a real shame the Lions didn't get Scotty Nicholls on board many years ago, I'm sure he would be leaving now with the club having been better for his prescence over a longer time period.

Can't see it being Eastbourne as they - like Leicester - are a Saturday track so still clashes with his BT commitments. I would put Kent much higher up the list of possible clubs.

Let's not be too quick to write Scott off, especially at CL level. He captained the side to the Championship and finished top of the averages, he may not be as competitive as he used to be at the highest level but he is one of a handful of riders (in the CL) that have mastered BP and I would pay to watch. The place will be poorer without him.
