Presume it would need to have happened by now to be effective for this Thursdays match. Pity, because a win, and would nearly be certain for play offs. Perhaps they don`t want to be in the final ! The Third Man
SHEFFIELD boss Simon Stead is urging fans to turn out in force to help their play-off bid when Ipswich visit Owlerton tomorrow (7.30). A much better rallying call would have been to announce a replacement for Batchelor Hope he's at number 2 again tomorrow, then at least his three pointless rides will be over by heat 8
LisaColette
They'll keep him now he's doing well for Kent, hoping that he brings some of the form over to Sheffield.

Based on what he's done up to now they should have got rid of him before he lowered his average enough to join Kent If he starts doing well now he really has had all the supporters for complete mugs, paying money to watch him reduce his average so he can earn more money

Chadster
Third meeting in a row at Owlerton that Harris has appeared for the opposition. Didn't there used to be laws to stop that happening?

LisaColette
SHEFFIELD co-owner Peter Mole is asking fans to back off under-performing Troy Batchelor ahead of tonight’s (Thursday) crucial clash with Ipswich at Owlerton. From British Speedway twitter Yeah he also said the same thing in the match program. I think Batch has burned his bridges with the Sheffield fans. If he goes the rest of the season unbeaten he'll still never be accepted at owlerton (by me at least). Tigers fans appreciate effort and commitment even if a rider doesn't score the points his efforts deserve. The way that Batch has let down the fans and the promoters is a disgrace. I find it sad that some riders e.g. Cookie are booed wherever they go despite clearly giving 100% effort and we then get some people who I suspect haven't watched Batch's performances on and off the bike this year telling the fans to lay off him. The only reason he wasn't sacked is because there's such a shortage of "heat leader" quality riders at the moment and he clearly felt unsackable hence his lack of effort.
